Taking a look into her personal life, Yami Gautam is the daughter of Mukesh Gautama, a coordinator in Zee News channel. She was born on 28 Nov 1986 in Chandigarh, Punjab. Yami Gautam terms herself as a very, very simple person who is extremely passionate about her work. At an early stage of her life she was a bright law student but, during her first year of studies she decided to take up acting as her career. Yami Gautam is now doing her part time graduation from Mumbai. Yami hobbies include reading,interior decoration, dancing and  listening to music.
